Hyundai Steel's schedule
Dangjin works:

  • CR mill-1 : Repairs scheduled from 9 September for two weeks.

  • CR mill-2: Repairs scheduled from 24 September to early October.

The CR mill at the Suncheon works is scheduled for repairs from mid-October along with planned repairs at the continuous galvanising line and electrolytic galvanising line, which, in turn, will impact the production and sales of CR and coated products post September.

Outlook
Market participants expect that the recovery in demand from the construction and appliances industry will remain under pressure due to the continuous fall in imported offers.
