South Korea: Ferro Alloy Imports Down by 13% M-o-M in Mar'18

According to the South Korean customs, the country has witnessed a decrease of 13% M-o-M in its Ferro Alloy imports.
In Mar'18, South Korea imported a total of 0.07 MnT Ferro Alloys against 0.08 MnT in Feb'18. Moreover, on yearly basis, there has again been a decrease of 13% Y-o-Y as South Korea imported 0.08 MnT in Mar'17 as well.
In Mar'18, Korea imported 0.03 MnT of Ferro Chrome, 0.02 MnT Ferro Silicon, and 0.01 MnT Silico Manganese. South Korea recorded a substantial decrease of 40% M-o-M in its Ferro Chrome imports as it imported 0.05 MnT in Feb'18. Silico Manganese imports by South Korea was also down by 50% M-o-M in Mar'18 while Ferro Silicon import was stable in the month.

South Africa being the largest Ferro Alloy exporter to South Korea witnessed no change in its export volume at 0.02MnT in Mar'18, while India, China, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan exported 0.01 Mnt each. Indian exports to South Korea witnessed a decrease of 50% M-o-M as it exported 0.02 MnT in Feb'18.
