SAIL's Another Lot of Iron Ore Auction went Unsold as Buyers Remain on Sidelines

Govt. owned - SAIL (Steel Authority of India) another lot of iron ore fines e-auction from Barsua mines was scheduled today (i.e. 20th Mar'20) went unsold. The entire 100,000 MT quantity offered for Fe 61.3% remained unsold, as buyers remain sidelines amid corona outbreak.

Last month, SAIL's Barsua iron ore mines in Odisha received a good response and 60,000 MT iron ore fines (Fe 62%) offered was booked at INR 2,270/MT (loaded to rake, Royalty, DMF, NMET & other taxes extra).

In yesterday's SAIL's Bolani iron ore fines (Fe 62.5%) auction for 100,000, MT remained unsold for the entire quantity.
