Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is the India's largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products, has released an open tender for tentative purchase of 10,500 MT HC ferro manganese for its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh.
The material is required for the period of three months i.e. July'17 to September'17.

Chemical Specifications
The material should contain Manganese 70.0% min, Carbon 7.5% max, Silicon 1.5% max, Phosphorous 0.43% max and Sulphur 0.05% max.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Bidder should be an indigenous manufacturer of ferro manganese/silico manganese.
2. Bidder must have supplied ferro manganese/silico manganese to any of Govt. organizations, PSUs, or Public Limited Companies in any one of the last five preceding years.
The tenderer must offer minimum quantity of 2500 MT (to be supplied in three months in staggered manner

Due date for bid submission is 29 Jun'17 till 13:00 hrs and techno-commercial opening date is 30 Jun'17 at 11:00 hrs.
