SAIL Issues Purchase Tender for 4,800 MT Silico Manganese

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is the India's largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products including Pig iron, flat and long products and special steels at its plants spread over India issues purchase tender for 4,800 MT silico manganese.
Bid shall remain valid for one year from the date of tender opening.
Price discovery shall be done once in four months

Manganese: 55.0% min
Silicon: 20.0% min
Carbon: 0.50% max
Phosphorous: 0.15% max
Sulphur: 0.02% max

Eligibility criteria
1. The Tenderer shall be a manufacturer of Medium Carbon Silico Manganese.
2. The tenderer shall have successfully supplied at least 1440 MT of "Medium Carbon Silico Manganese" to any industry in India
3. This quantity could be through a single order or multiple orders, in any of the last four financial years viz 2012-13 or 2013-14 or 2014-15 or 2015-16.
4. The average annual turnover of the tenderer during the last three financial year(s) ended 31.03.16 shall not be less than 1190 lakhs.
