Russia: Manganese Ore Imports Falls in Mar'18

According to the Russian customs, the country witnessed a decrease of 9% M-o-M in its Manganese Ore imports in Mar'18.

Russia imported 0.1 MnT in Mar'18 against 0.11 MnT in Feb'18. However, on yearly basis, Russian imports sees a substantial increase of 43% Y-o-Y as it imported 0.07 MnT in Mar'17.

Russia had made its purchases earlier on an anticipation rise in Manganese Ore prices. Hence, during a further rise in Manganese Ore prices, Russia kept its imports little low.

South Africa remained the largest exporter of Manganese Ore to Russia at 0.08 MnT, witnessing an increase of 14% M-o-M followed by Kazakhstan at 0.01 MnT among others.
