Russia Flat Steel Exports Shrink 13% M-o-M in Apr'17

According to Russian customs data, flat steel which includes (7208 - HR coils/Plates,7209 - CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) exports have come down considerably by 13%,M-o-M basis to 0.84 MnT in Apr'17 in contrast to 0.96 MnT in Mar'17.
On yearly basis, Russia Flat steel exports surged by whopping 24% in Apr'17 against Apr'16. In Apr'16 country's flat steel exports stood at 0.68 MnT.
In first four months of Jan-Apr'17 nation's flat steel exports showed the growth of 13% to 3.26 MnT compared to 2.9 MnT in the similar time-frame of previous year.
Grade-wise Russia Flat Steel Exports -
If grade-wise analysis is made, then HRC exports move down by 19.72% in Apr'17 against Mar'17 whereas CRC surged in Apr'17 against previous month. Although,galvanized steel remain stable in Apr'17.

Country-wise Russia Flat Steel Exports in Apr'17-Turkey was the major importer of flat steel from Russia and has imported 0.15 MnT flat steel in Apr'17 Other major flat steel importers from Russia in Apr'17 were Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Egypt.
