PELLEX stable at INR 6,150/wmt (DAP Raipur) amid no deals reported. No deals were reported in the Raipur market in this publishing window.

Chandrapur (Maharashtra) based steelmaker has concluded 3,000 MT pellet deal from C.G based units at around INR 6,000/MT (Ex-plant) yesterday.

SteelMint P-DRI Assessment (Dec 03, 2019) stable W-o-W to INR 16,600/MT (Ex-Raipur) against last week.

Indian pellet maker based in eastern India has concluded pellet export (Fe 64%, 3% Al) to China, at around USD 109/MT, CFR China for 1st week of Jan laycan. SteelMint Pellet export assessment stands at USD 98-99/MT, FoB India. Chinese steel mills are preferring pellets to maintain steel output amid environmental restrictions. Ex -Plant export realization for Raipur pellet maker up to INR 5,700-5,750/WMT.

Considering the landed cost of Lump and other factors like yield, conversion cost, etc for NMDC and Orissa; the substitute parity price for Pellet is INR 5,920/MT (DAP Raipur).
