OMC Chrome Ore E-Auction on 5 Jan'18, Material Offered 47,560 MT

For the next round of chrome ore e-auction which will be held on 5 Jan'18, the Odisha government owned miner OMC has offered a total of 47,560 MT chrome ore. Out of which 30,300 MT are friable ore, 2,400 MT are concentrate, 11,000 hard lump, 1,220 MT Chips and 2,640 Fines.
The company has offered the material of quantity 27,600 MT from South Kalapani chromite mines, 2,700 MT from Sukrangi Chromite Mines, 2,400 MT from COBP Kaliapani and 14,860 MT From Bangur Mines.
The bid value coated shall be the basic price in rupees per WMT (Wet Metric Ton) for the mineral inclusive of royalty and exclusive of cess and other statutory duties and levies etc applicable at the time of suppliers will be extra and payable by the successful bidder

Odisha contributes almost entirely towards chrome ore production in India. Chrome ore production in Odisha has been recorded at 316,277 MT in Nov'17. It is about 27% above the production witnessed in Oct'17.
