Mongolia: Coking coal exports rise sharply in H1CY'24

Mongolia's coking coal exports surged by 37.03% y-o-y to 38.27 mnt in H1CY'24 against 27.93 mnt in H1CY'23. Moreover, exports rose by 7% m-o-m to 7.50 mnt in Jun'24 compared with 7.01 mnt in May'24. Mongolia's total coal exports rose by 39.14% y-o-y in H1CY'24 against H1CY'23. Mongolia's anthracite exports dropped drastically by -30.45% in H1CY'24 to 0.07 mnt against 0.11 mnt in H1CY'23.
