Japan: Tokyo Steel Keeps Steel Prices Unchanged for June Deliveries

Tokyo Steel - a leading Japanese steel produecr has become the number one producer for H-beams,flat steel products,galvanized coils and heavy plates. The company has expanded its product line from basic long steel products, as small steel sections and bars, to a variety of steel products. Tokyo Steel emphasis is on upgrading its production facilities ahead of both domestic electric arc-furnace steelmakers and most of its overseas competitors.
In the monthly press conference held today (i.e. 22 May'17) at Tokyo Headquarters, Kiyoshi Imamura, Managing Director of Tokyo Steel Manufacturing announced that steel prices remain unchanged for June deliveries.

The production schedule of Tokyo Steel in May'17 was for 20,500 MT, H-shaped steel 90,000 MT and hot coils of 85,000 MT. Besides this quantity for export comprised of 20,000 MT and planks 10,000 MT.
