Japan: Ordinary steel orders in domestic market fall m-o-m in end-Jun'24

According to data from the Japan Steel Federation, as reported by Japan Metal Daily, orders for ordinary steel products in the domestic market decreased by 85,000 t or 1.6% m-o-m to 5. 289 mnt at the end of Jun'24. This is the first decline in two months. For exports, inventories stood at 1.215 mnt, which was approximately 80,000 t lower than at the end of May.
