Japan Ferro Chrome Imports Increase 11% during Jan-November 2018

Japan increased its imports of Ferro Chrome by 11% on a Y-o-Y basis for the period Jan-Nov'2018. Imports depicted a sharp rise in the month of February and July 2018. On yearly basis, a rise of 11.26% has been observed.
However, the imports fell drastically on M-o-M from Oct to Nov by 18.16%. A major fall was noticed for South Africa and Kazakhstan by 29.58% and 27.82% respectively. However, a remarkable growth was noticed in the imports from India by 173.22% against 10,735 MT. Moreover, the monthly growth also puts an impact on the yearly growth of imports from India which was increased by 23.98% against 60608 MT.
The major Exporter for japan viz., South Africa and Kazakhstan even-though noted a fall in November imports but increased in Y-o-Y basis with 13.04% and 9.49% against 321,431 MT and 314,392 MT respectively.
