Iranian Mill Concludes 30,000 MT Billet Export Deal

-- South Kaveh Steel Co. popularly known as SKS has issued a tender for export of 30,000 MT billet for June shipment, SteelMint learned from its reliable sources. However, the hearsays about this tender are that the company has concluded the tender at USD 350-355/MT, on an FoB basis. Although, the deal was not been confirmed until the publishing of this report.

-- About SKS, the company is one of the leading semi-finished steel producers of the country. The company produced approximately 100,516 MT billets during the first month of the current Iranian year, 21 Mar'20 - 20 Apr'20. The company's production of semi-finished steel stood at 1.50 MnT during the last Iranian year to book a Y-o-Y rise of 14%.

-- Following the global trend, the billet export offers from the country has witnessed a reasonable hike this week.
