Ferro chrome imports strike down by 58% m-o-m in October 2023

• Ferro chrome imports in Indonesia inched down by 58% m-o-m in October, 2023 to 21,203 t as against 50,928 t in September, 2023.
  
  
• South Africa (16,771 t) remained as the prominent importer in October, 2023.
  
  
• Meanwhile, the cumulative imports y-o-y dropped by 42% in January-October, 2023 to 758,967 t as compared to 1,360,587 t CPLY.
  
  

Chrome ore imports strike down by 49% m-o-m in October 2023

• Indonesia's Chrome ore imports declined by 49% m-o-m at 39,210 t which was 76,195 t in October, 2023.
  
  
• South Africa remained as the key exporter this month at 39,210 t, the overall imports dropped.
  
  
• However, the imports y-o-y increased by 24% in January-October 2023 to 503,839 t as against 406,022 t CPLY.
  
  

Manganese ore imports stay stable m-o-m in October 2023

• Manganese ore imports in Indonesia remained firm m-o-m in October, 2023 to 46,499 t as against 46,560 t in September, 2023.
  
  
• Gabon(20,999 t) and China(3,019 t) exported manganese ore to Indonesia in October, 2023.
  
  
• Meanwhile, the imports rose y-o-y by 61% in January-October 2023 to 345,594 t which was 214,221 t in same period last year.
