India's Ministry of Steel Issues Quality Control Order, 2019

Ministry of Steel in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16, of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 has issued Steel & Steel Products (Quality Control ) Order 2019. This shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
What is the order all about ?
It is stated that every Steel and Steel products specified in this order shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau.
Which all products are included in this?
BIS has identified some additional steel products includes galvanized steel sheets, steel plates for pressure vessels, stainless steel wire rod, wires, bars & flats .
