Indian Structure Prices Remain on Downtrend

Structure offers have declined further by INR 500-1,600/MT (USD 8-25) this week for all size in domestic market.

The prices plunged due to mute demand and following prices corrections in billet by INR 500-1,200/MT W-o-W.

The small scale mill owners in Central India, reported despite seasonal less production (due to summer), the prices decreasing day by day as buying interest is dull.

In the week, major price fall is seen in Ahmedabad by INR 1,600/MT followed by Durgapur and Hyderabad by INR 750/MT and INR 500/MT respectively.

Central India registered price correction of INR 900/MT for light structure and INR 700/MT for heavy structure; trade discount heard at INR 400-600/MT.

Heavy beam 200x100 mm are assessed in Durgapur at INR 30,000/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 32,000/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 29,700/MT, Mumbai at INR 32,200/MT and in Raipur by 27,800/MT.

Angle 40x40 mm Offers are evaluated in Hyderabad at INR 30,000/MT and in Central India at INR 27,300/MT.
