Indian Rebar Prices Remain Volatile on Subdued Trade Activities

Domestic long steel manufacturers and stockiest are quite optimistic as the offers remain volatile,since a week duration.
The hub of medium and small scale producers - Raipur, Central India and Durgapur, East market; rebar offers here registered price movement of INR 200-500/MT (USD 3-7) W-o-W.
In Northern Region (Delhi) one to the distributor of renowned brand stated "sales are average as the stockiest are afraid to keep stocks on expected further price reduction by large producers. Hence, chances are high to decline prices by medium and small scale mills."
Although, in West India, Maharashtra, price competition between the instant suppliers continue to influence the fall in rebar prices. Presently, viability is good from one market to another market to supply rebars at competitive prices.
For instance, Jalna is continuing to selling rebars to Mumbai at cheaper prices by INR 500-700/MT (USD 7-10) than the offers provided by Mumbai based local manufacturers. Similarly, Ahmednagar based manufacturers also selling material in Mumbai & few other markets in the state.
