Indian Railways Floats Tender for Purchase 13,700 MT Mild Steel Structure

Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) invites a tender for purchase of approximately 13,699 MT of Mild Steel Structural Items for the Railways and production units through running contract.

The tender had floated on 11 Oct 2017 after the referred by Government of India and the bid submission due date for the tender is 14 Nov'17 at 14:30 IST.

According to document published by Ministry the bulk purchase will be made from those firms who are -

Established, reliable, indigenous main producers of steel having integrated steel plant or sources having valid BIS license for re-rolling specific to tender specification only are eligible for bulk supply.

Must have supplied at least 20% of tendered quantity to railway boards contract during last three financial years.
