Meanwhile, billet prices dropped in the range of INR 100-400/t across regions. The maximum fall was seen in Mumbai's billet market.
Rebar (Fe 500) offers edged down by INR 100-800/t across regions. The highest drop of INR 800/t was noticed in Mumbai.
The market saw volatility in semi-finished and finished long steel prices amidst moderate buying except in the central and eastern regions. In these regions, demand for semis and finished steel products remained active and sufficient trades were reported by suppliers.
