India's induction furnace (IF) steel market continued to remain weak on account of slow demand on 30 Mar'22 as offers from the mid-sized mills declined by up to INR 800/tonne (t) ($10) d-o-d.
Sponge iron and billet prices decreased in the range of INR 100-650/t following a major drop of INR 650/t being noticed in West Bengal (eastern India).
Also, rebar (Fe 500) offers moved down in the range of INR 100-800/t across regions. Prices fell sharply in Delhi/NCR, north India.
