Pellet trades in Bellary market resume -: Southern India based pellet makers resumed offers last week. As per the market participants report to SteelMint, one of the major pellet makers from Bellary has concluded around 13,000 MT pellets (Fe 63%) deal in the local market this week at INR 6,200-6,300/MT (EXW-Bellary).
Domestic pellet trades in Raipur remain slow: Raipur based pellet manufacturers have kept the pellet offer unchanged this week also. Current pellet offer for Fe 63% grade stands at INR 5,800-5,900/MT (EXW Raipur, GST extra). Ne deal has been concluded so far this week.
Raigarh based units book Odisha pellets - Raigarh pellet offers were reported at INR 5,400-5,500/MT (EXW Raigarh, GST extra). As per the market participants reported to SteelMint, Odisha based pellet maker concluded 10,000 MT deal to Raigarh steel mills yesterday at INR 5,200/MT (EXW).
Jindal SAW offers remain firm-: Western India based pellet maker - Jindal SAW has kept pellet offers unmoved this week after resumed offer in the market last week. As per the sources, current offers of pellets (Fe 63%) stand at INR 8,000/MT (delivered Kandla) the same as last week.
Barbil pellet offers unchanged-: As per the sources, Barbil (eastern India) based pellet manufacturers continued to quote pellet offers in the domestic market. Current offers for Fe 63% grade stands at around INR 5,100-5,300/MT (loaded to wagon, GST extra). However, no significant deal has been reported.
