India: Vizag Steel Concludes 40,000 MT Bloom Export Tender

Vizag Steel - a government of India owned mill had floated bloom export tenders of quantity 40,000 MT for end Dec shipment. The tender floated was for IS 2830 C20MMn Gr A grade and 150*150 mm size. According to SteelMint sources, the company has concluded the tender at around USD 406-409/MT, FoB India.

With rising demand and improved market sentiments; supported by elevating Turkey's imported scrap prices, billet export offers from all the major billet exporting nations have gone up, in recent. The offers from CIS Nations are at USD 395-400, FoB, Black Sea.

Prior to this, the company had invited bloom export tenders of size- 200*200 and 150*150 mm and quantity 20,000 MT and 30,000 MT respectively. The company had concluded the two lots (15,000 MT each) of billet export for 150*150mm at around USD 400/MT, FoB.
