Benchmark silico manganese at INR 68,000/t

Durgapur steel plant (DSP): SAIL has issued a purchase tender for 72,150 t of high carbon (HC) silico manganese (grade 60-15, size: 25-50 mm) for its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). The last date for submission of bids is 15 Jan'25 and offer is valid for 90 days from auction date. BigMint assessed silico manganese 25-150 mm, HC 60-14 prices at INR 68,000/t exw-Durgapur on 1 Jan'25.

Bhilai Steel Plant: A purchase tender was floated for 50 t of ferro molybdenum (MO: 60% min, size:10-50mm) for its Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. The last date for bid submission is 15 Jan'25. The highest-priced bid elimination is applicable for the reverse auction qualification rule. BigMint assessed ferro molybdenum (MO:60%, 10-100mm) prices at INR 2,506,000/t exw-India on 1 Jan'25.

Salem Steel Plant: A purchase tender was floated for 600 t of ferro silicon (Si-70%, size: 10-50 mm) for its Salem Steel Plant (SSP), Tamil Nadu. The last date for bid submission is 11 Jan'25 and the bid offer is valid for 60 days from the date of auction. Ferro silicon prices stood at INR 104,000/t exw-Guwahati as on 30 Dec'24.
