Steel Authority of India Ltd. - a government of India company has floated two export tenders for Mild Steel Non Alloys Concast Blooms from its Durgapur Steel Plant & IISCO Steel Plant West Bengal.
Bidding Schedule: For DSP entry of bids will be active till 16:00:00 Hrs [IST] of 22 May'20 and for ISP till 26 May'20.
Offer Validity: For DSP valid upto 17:00:00Hrs. [IST] of 26 May'20& for ISP 30 May'20

Last week, the global billet market was reported with massive trade volumes. The bookings were largely made by China. CIS Nations, India, and Iran were the prime exporter. However, this week, Vietnam came out as a surprise supplier, booking a sizeable billet volume to China.
Talking on the price front; the export prices from/in all the major billet trading nations remained largely stable, except for India, as few India mills were noted to offer in the range of USD 390-400/MT,CFR levels.
