Raipur based sponge makers booked 25,000 MT pellets
Raipur (central India) had lowered offers yesterday by INR 200/MT. Current offers for Fe 63% grade pellet at INR 6,200/MT (ex-Raipur, GST extra)
Raigarh based plant has concluded pellet deal for around 25,000 MT at INR 5,500 (Ex plant) to Raipur based sponge plants.
P-DRI prices in Raipur witnessed drop sharply on weekly basis to INR 15,500/MT as compared to INR 16,600/MT (basic) last week.
Durgapur pellet assessment fell for the week:
In Durgapur SteelMint's reference, pellet price witnessed at 5,500-5,700/MT this week as against last week's assessment at INR 5,700-5,800/MT.
P-DRI prices witnessed drop to INR 15,700/MT against INR 16,450/MT assessed last week.
Southern India pellet offers stable W-o-W:
Southern India (Bellary) based pellet makers have depicted stability in prices at INR 6,200-6,300/MT W-o-W. Trades remained on lower side in Bellary region with few pellet makers not actively offering in the market.
P-DRI prices in Bellary also stood firm on weekly basis at INR 15,900-16,100/MT (ex-Bellary).
Indian pellet trade updates-:
-- Jamshedpur offers for pellet witnessed at INR 5,100-5,400/MT (Ex-plant).
-- West India (Rajasthan) based pellet maker - Jindal SAW kept pellet (Fe 63%) offers unchanged for the week. Current offers are at INR 7,800/MT (delivered Kandla).
