India: Odisha Iron Ore Miners Hold Prices Firm

Odisha based merchant miners have kept iron ore offers firm this week. However, production is learned to have remained low amid monsoons.
SteelMint's assessment for Odisha iron ore lump (5-18mm, Fe 63%) stands at INR 3,700-3,900/MT and for fines, Fe 63% is at around INR 1,900-2,000/MT (ex-mines, inclusive of Royalty, DMF & NMET).
Odisha Mining Corporation has scheduled its next iron ore fines e-auction on 12th Sep'19, base prices decreased upto INR 350/MT against the base price of the previous e-auction conducted on 12th July'19.
