India: Odisha Govt. Issues Permit to Dispatch Iron Ore to Few Mines

As per SteelMint sources, Odisha govt has issued permits to few mines. Last week on Saturday, it had stopped issuing permits temporarily to some of the major iron ore mines including Serajuddin Mines, KJS Ahluwalia, Kaypee Enterprises for unknown reasons.

As per sources, few of the miners have been issued permits like Indrani Patnaik, KJS Ahluwalia etc. However, permit issue for Serajuddin Mines still remains suspended and the issue is expected to be resolved shortly.

Odisha is India's largest iron ore producing state and recorded production of 96.76 MnT in FY18.
