India: NMDC to Auction 120,000 MT Iron Ore from Chhattisgarh Mines

India's largest iron ore miner - National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) is going to conduct an e-auction for 28,000 MT calibrated lump ore, 28,000 MT iron ore fines, 24000 MT DRCLO and 40000 MT low grade iron ore.
The last date for submitting required documents is 06 Mar'20 and the auction will start on the same day at 13:00 Hrs and 15:00 Hrs.

NMDC conducted its last e-auction from Chhattisgarh mines on 10th Feb'20. The offered material was comprised of 16,000 MT calibrated lump ore, 24,000 MT ROM, 28,000 MT iron ore fines and 8,000 MT iron ore lumps.
In the auction, about 20,000 MT fines and 16,000 MT DR-CLO were booked at base price.
Towards mid Jan'20, NMDC had conducted an auction for 12,000 MT calibrated lump ore, 16,000 MT ROM, 28,000 MT iron ore fines and 8,000 MT iron ore lumps. The entire quantity of DR-CLO was booked, witnessing a hike of INR 400/MT above the set base price. The DR-CLO lots received the highest bids at INR 3,675/MT against the set base price of INR 3,275/MT.
