India: NMDC Hikes Pellet Offers from Donimalai Plant

South India (Karnataka) based - NMDC Donimalai pellet plant has increased offers by INR 200/MT to INR 6,200/MT (FoT basis).

Current offers are on FoT basis for Fe 64% pellets for a quantity of 22,000 MT on advance payment basis. The price validity is till 30th Sept'19. Rake loading can be arranged at an extra cost of INR 105/MT (including GST).

Bellary based merchant pellet makers have depicted rise in prices for the week amid material availability issue. Two major pellet makers from Bellary have taken maintenance shut down which led to material shortage in the market.

Current offers from Southern India (Bellary based pellet makers for Fe 63% grade pellet is at around INR 6,500-6,600/MT (ex-plant, GST extra).

NMDC Ltd is operating 1.2 MnT pa capacity pellet plant located at Donimalai, Karnataka.
