India: NMDC Cuts Pellet Offer from Donimalai Plant by INR 200

South India (Karnataka) based - NMDC Donimalai Pellet Plant has reduced pellet offers by INR 200/MT to INR 6,830/MT (FoT basis) as against last offer at INR 7,030/MT (FoT basis). Rake loading can be arranged at an extra cost of INR 105/MT (including GST).

The company has opened fresh pellet offers today for sale of 23,000 MT on advance payment basis and the offers will remain valid till 15 Jul'19.

Southern India Pellet Offers Close to 1-Year Low Amid Weak P-DRI Prices-: SteelMint's assessment for pellets stands at INR 6,200-6,400/MT (Ex-Bellary, GST Extra) against last week assessment at INR 6,300-6,500/MT. Pellet prices for Southern India have moved down by INR 700-800/MT M-o-M as against INR 7,000/MT a month back. Bellary pellet prices are hovering at close to 1 year low as these levels were last seen in Aug'18.

P-DRI prices in Bellary also decreased by INR 500-600/MT W-o-W to INR 15,800-16,000/MT this week against INR 16,500/MT last week. In a month's time, sponge prices have come down sharply by INR 1,500-2,000/MT as against INR17,800/MT.
