India: Madhya Pradesh government successfully auctions off 10 mine blocks

The Mineral Resources Department of the Madhya Pradesh (MP) government has notified on 13 September 2023, the declaration of the preferred bidder for the phase-11 auction of major minerals blocks of the availability of 18 mineral blocks for mining leases and composite licences through a bidding process.

Out of this, ten were those of manganese ore. There were several dates for the bidding, starting from 5 September and ending on 12 September. In accordance with the highest final price offers made by the preceding bidders, recognised as preferred bidders for the relevant blocks.

Key preferred bidders include - Jindal Steel & Power, G1 Resources etc.
