India's lead imports stood at 34,926 t, up by 32% m-o-m in November 2022 against October 2022 which were 26,546 t. Exports were up by 4% m-o-m in November 2022 at 10,719 t from 10,265 t in October 2022.
Sub-commodity wise imports
Semi-finished products increased by 41% to 26,680 t in November 2022 from 18,891 t in the previous month.
Lead scrap was also up m-o-m by 8% to 8,246 t in November, 2022 from 7,655 t in October, 2022.
Country wise imports
The UAE was the largest exporter to India with 4,932 t in November, 2022 from 1,863 t in October 2022, a drastic increase of 165% was recorded m-o-m in the shipment of UAE.
South Korea's lead imports were up by 71% m-o-m in November 2022 to 4,154 t from 2,431 t in the previous month.
Malaysia's export volumes were down by 13% m-o-m in November 2022 to 3,570 t from 4,087 t in October 2022.
Sub-commodity wise imports
The volume of semi-finished products exported by India stood at 10,719 t in November 2022, up by 4% m-o-m as compared to the previous month.
Country wise exports
South Korea was the largest importer of lead from India with an increase in shipments of 5% m-o-m to 6,175 t in November 2022 from 5,903 t in October 2022.
The UAE stood second with 1,322 t in November 2022, a rise of 13% m-o-m as compared to the previous month which was around 1,171 t.
India's exports to Thailand were down by 16% in November 2022 at 1,123 t from 1,343 t in October 2022.
