India : KIOCL Invites Tender for Supply of 50,000 MT Iron Ore Fines

KIOCL Limited (formerly known as Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited), a flagship company under the Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India has invited a tender for supply 50,000 MT iron ore fines from reputed Indigenous Iron ore suppliers, i.e.mine owners/traders/stockists/manufacturers. Tender floated is for supply of 50,000 DMT+-10% of iron ore fines from Indigenous sources for use in Pellet Plant at Mangalore

a) Fe : 63.50% Guaranteed
b) SiO2 : 4.50% max
c) Al2O3 : 2.00% max
d) Moisture : NA (Supply on DMT basis).
e) Sulphur : 0.03% max
f) Phosphorus : 0.045% max
g) Size : (-) 10mm
h) Tolerance : (+) 10mm : 5% max
(-100mesh) : 25% max
i) LOI : 02.50% max.

KIOCL pellet export deal - KIOCL has concluded pellet export deal for 50,000 MT consisting of Fe 65% with less than 1% Al. As per the sources, the deal was concluded at around USD 111/MT, FoB India for immediate loading.

KIOCL runs a 3.5 MnT pa pellet plant in Mangalore, Karnataka.
