India: KIOCL Concludes 50,000 MT Domestic Pellet Tender

Southern India based pellet maker - KIOCL has concluded domestic pellet deal recently via tender floated. The company had floated domestic tender offering 50,000 MT pellet consisting of Fe 64% content with less than 2% Al. As per the sources, the deal was concluded at around INR 8,300/MT (on FoB basis to Mangalore port).

KIOCL's pellet export tender for 50,000 MT due today - KIOCL's e-tender for sale of pellets for export market during Aug'19 will be held between 14:00 hrs on 13 Aug'19 and 14:00 hrs on 14 Aug'19 (Indian Time) among empanelled customers.

State-owned pellet maker - KIOCL (Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd) recorded enhanced pellet production for first quarter FY20. The production recorded at 0.61 MnT, above the set target of 0.49 MnT. The production marked 38% increase Y-o-Y as against Q1 FY'19 production at 0.44 MnT.
