The Goa government has published the results of the 30th iron ore e-auction, which was conducted on 3 October 2024 at various locations in the state. A total of 756,518 tonnes (t) of iron ore, comprising fines, lumps, run-of-mine (ROM), and tailings, were on offer, and the entire quantity was sold.
The auction was executed via the Metal Scrap Trade Corporation (MSTC) portal, with the Directorate of Mines and Geology (DMG) declaring the winning bidders on the same platform. Participation was limited to end-users and exporters.
