India: Chrome ore dispatches stable m-o-m in Aug' 20

Indian chrome ore dispatches remain flat in Aug' 20 amid the ongoing short supply of chrome ore. Misirlal mines remained the largest seller of chrome ore as they have to vacate the mine before mid-September. Meanwhile, OMC is still fulfilling their past orders from the stock in hand.

With the ongoing monsoons, the production of chrome ore has been heavily affected. The production has been affected since March, first due to lockdown restrictions and labour unavailability and now because of the monsoons.

Major Buyers:
Jindal Stainless, Aarti Steel and Visa Steel remained the three biggest receivers of chrome ore in Aug' 20.
