BigMint's billet index inched up by INR 400/t to INR 44,000/t exw Raipur on 10 June, 2024. Total transactions stood at 1,100 t compared with to 7,900 t on 7 June.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index, decreased by INR 200/tonne (t) to INR 41,200/t DAP on 10 June, 2024.

Sponge iron prices in all key domestic markets dropped in the range of INR 50-500/t. PDRI market prices closed at a range of INR 26,350-28,350/t and CDRI prices, at INR 28,800-34,500/t. About 12,900 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 10 June compared to 41,740 t on 7 June.
