India: Ardent Steels Resume Operations

Ardent Steels Limited- a Subsidiary of Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has resume its operations at its 0.6 MnT pa Iron Ore Pellet Plant situated in Keonjhar (Odisha). The said Company has taken necessary permissions from local authorities and has also taken all necessary steps for safeguarding employees of the Company.

Prior to this Godawari Power & Ispat also announced on 10 Apr that it has resumed partial operations by commencing mining operations in Ari Dongri iron ore mines and also restarted manufacturing activities in 0.6 million MTPA Iron Ore Pellet Plant situated at Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur from today i.e. 10.04.2020, company informed in a filing.

On 14th Feb, pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015, company informed that the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has accorded its Environmental Clearance to Mis Ardent Steel Limited (A Subsidiary our Company) for enhancement of production capacity of existing Iron Ore Pelletisation Plant from 6,00,000 TPA to 6,90,000 TPA through Process Optimization without any further Capital Expenditure for the same. The approval will enable the Company to increase the production of iron ore pellets by 15% up-to 6,90,000 TPA.
