India: 40,000 MT Mill Scale Export Vessels from East Coast

As per SteelMint Vessel Update, two mill scale export vessel were recorded from Indian East coast carrying total 40,000 MT.
This is the 10th bulk mill scale export vessel in CY 2017. Cargo is expected to go to China , which is the largest consumer of Indian mill scale.
As per port data Vessel MV Global Royal loaded 15,000 MT from Haldia port and currently at loading position in Vizag port, vessel belongs to KK enterprises and Ashapura respectively.
India exported 184,000 MT mill scale till April 2017 against 240,000 MT in CY2016. Only 8 export vessels of mill scale were recorded in CY 2016 against 10 till May'17.
Presently mill scale (Fe 70/68%) export offers from India are around USD 41-42/MT, FoB India which is equivalent to USD 61/MT, CFR China.
