India: 23 companies in race in upcoming Karnataka iron ore block auctions

The Karnataka government had put three iron ore-bearing mines to the e-auction in early-Oct'21. The state government selected MSTC platform for the e-auction.

In the latest update received, there were twenty-three technically qualified bidders for the Karnataka iron ore block. Some of the big companies which had cleared the technical round include JSW Steel Limited, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited, Vedanta Limited, Minera Steel and Power Pvt Limited, etc.

It is further informed that the training and mock auction to the above mentioned technically qualified bidders is scheduled on 13 Jan'22 on the e-auction platform by MSTC. The bidders may attend the training session from their respective locations after logging into MSTC portal.
