Imported HRC Offers to Vietnam Climb Further

Towards the end of week,Imported HRC offers to Vietnam edges up further following surge in Chinese steel prices.

Chinese HRC export offers witness uptrend amid tight supply ahead of week-long new year holidays scheduled in the month of February.This in turn impacted imported HRC offers to Vietnam.

Meanwhile Indian mills also raised imported HRC offers for Vietnam for Feb shipments.

This week imported HRC offers to Vietnam moved up by USD 5-15/MT from Chinese and Indian mills against the offers assessed in beginning of this week.

1.HRC(SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Chinese offer- Benxi Steel is at USD 515/MT CFR Vietnam.In the beginning of the week offers was at USD 500/MT CFR basis.

2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Chinese offer - Rizhao Steel is at USD 500/MT CFR Vietnam.Towards beginning of the week offers were around USD 495/MT,CFR China.

3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Chinese offer - Magang Steel is at USD 495/MT CFR Vietnam.

4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Japanese offer - JFE Steel is at USD 520/MT CFR Vietnam.

5.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Indian offer - Indian steel mills offering at USD 492-500/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers was in range of USD 480/MT CFR basis.

6. A deal for 25,000-30,000 MT of HRC from east Indian mill was reported at USD 491/MT, CFR Vietnam for Feb shipments.
