Five Companies Participate in Paradip Plot Auction

The Paradip Port Trust had invited bids for allotment of 08 manual iron ore/ pellet plots through online bidding platform in mid Feb'18. The plots put for auction were standardized to the area of 3,000 square meters and the plot numbers were I6, I7, I8, I12, I13, I14, I15, and I16.

The last date for submission of bid was scheduled on 05th Mar'18 at 17:00 hrs. and the technical bids were to be opened on 06th Mar'18 at 17:00 Hrs

The reserve price for the plot was fixed at INR 1,312 per square meter per month.

As per market sources, the participants included Rungta Sons, Feegrade & Co., Jagannath Minerals & Steel, SM Niryat and Kaypee Enterprises.

The plots will be allotted for a period of 11 months.

Earlier, in Dec'17, Paradip Port Trust floated a tender for the allotment of 05 nos. manual iron ore/pellet plots and was due till 8th Jan'18, bearing plot numbers I1, I2, I8, I10, and I13 for allotment.
