Czech Republic Flat Steel Imports down by 5% in Apr'19- Nation's flat steel imports on monthly basis registered a decline of 5% in Apr'19 to 0.39 MnT which was 0.41 MnT in Mar'19.
Whereas on yearly premises the same remain unchanged in Apr'19 as compared to previous year.
During first four months of (Jan-Apr) CY'19 nation's imports stood at 1.62 MnT; inched down 1% as against 1.63 MnT in (Jan-Apr) CY'18.
Country-wise Czech Republic flat steel imports in Apr'19- Czech Republic imported 0.09 MnT of flat steel from Germany fell by 10% M-o-M basis in Apr'19 against 0.1 MnT in Mar'19.
Following this nation imported flat steel from Slovakia at 0.07 MnT, Poland at 0.04 MnT, Austria and Italy at 0.02 MnT in Apr'19.
Meanwhile Czech Republic also imported from Hungary, France, South Korea and Serbia in smaller quantities in Apr'19.
Czech Republic finished long steel imports remain stable in Apr'19- Nation's finish long imports stood at 0.09 MnT in Apr'19 and remained stable for fourth consecutive month in CY19.
On yearly basis also nation's, import volumes remain unchanged in Apr'19 and in Apr'18.
During first four months (Jan-Apr) CY'19 nation's long steel imports declined by 14% to 0.36 MnT in comparison to 0.42 MnT in same time frame of previous year.
Country-wise Czech Republic finished long steel imports in Apr'19- Poland stood as the major finish long steel exporting country to the Czech Republic at 0.03 MnT followed by Germany at 0.02 MnT and Italy at 0.01 MnT in Apr'19.
