• Chrome ore imports in China rose by 22% m-o-m in November, 2023 to 1.81 mnt which was 1.48 mnt in October, 2023.

Ferro chrome imports hold steady m-o-m in November, 2023

• Ferro chrome imports in China were generally stable, with a 2% reduction m-o-m in November, 2023 to 0.30 million tonnes, compared to 0.31 million tonnes in October, 2023.
  
  
• In November 2023, South Africa (0.17 mnt) was the leading exporter.
  
  
• Imports increased by 34% y-o-y to 3.02 million tonnes in January-November, 2023, compared to 2.26 million tonnes in the previous year.
