Central India: Raigarh based Steel Plants Receive Consent to Resume Operations

The Collector & District Magistrate has given consent to the steel manufacturers in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh to resume operations at their plants, SteelMint learned from its close sources.

As per the notification issued, the industries which are located away from urban areas are allowed to resume operations with minimum employees without causing any inconvenience to the employees and violating the instructions of the WHO.

"It's not easy to resume operations immediately, it will take at least 3-5 days to functionalize it. However depending on inquiries, we will proceed to resume operations", shared a few producers who have received permission recently.

Meanwhile it is also reported that few of the integrated plants have already resumed operations since a few days with less capacity utilization.
