Brazil: Sharp 45% m-o-m decline in ferro alloys exports in November 2023

Manganese ore exports down by 63% m-o-m in November, 2023

• Brazil's manganese ore exports fell by 63% m-o-m in November, 2023 to 21,959 t as against 59,680 t in October, 2023.
  
  
• Major exports were made to China this month with a total quantity of 17,729 t.
  
  
• However, the exports rose by 37% y-o-y in January-November, 2023 to 1,411,858 t which was 1,028,270 t CPLY.
  
  

Silico manganese exports inch up by 31% m-o-m in November, 2023

• Silico manganese exports in Brazil increased by 31% m-o-m in November, 2023 to 1,902 t as compared to 1,451 t in October, 2023.
  
  
• Argentina(1,540 t) remained as the key importer in November, 2023.
  
  
• Meanwhile, the exports y-o-y inched up by 15% in January-November, 2023 to 42,732 t as against 37,361 t in the same period last year.
  
  

Ferro silicon exports rise by 56% m-o-m in November, 2023

• Brazil's ferro silicon exports increased by 56% m-o-m in November, 2023 to 15,590 t which was 9,998 t in October, 2023.
  
  
• Japan (7,684 t) and South Korea (1,909 t) were the prominent importers in this month.
  
  
• Meanwhile, the exports y-o-y rose by 12% in January-November, 2023 to 155,744 t as against 138,975 t CPLY.
