Brazil: Manganese Ore Exports Remain Stable on M-o-M Basis in Dec'17

According to the Brazilian customs, the country has witnessed a stability in its Manganese Ore exports.

Brazilian Manganese Ore export in Dec'17 was at 0.31 MnT against exact quantity in Nov'17 as well. However, on yearly basis, Brazilian Manganese Ore exports reflected a substantial increase of 35% as it was 0.23 MnT in Dec'16.

China's Appetite for Brazilian Manganese Ore

China stands out to be the largest importer of Brazilian manganese ore, importing 0.20 MnT in Dec'17, followed by Uruguay at 0.06 MnT and Ukraine at 0.05 MnT the only three countries that imported Manganese Ore from Brazil in Dec'17. China imported more than 60% of the total Manganese Ore exported by Brazil. However, in Dec'17 China witnessed a substantial M-o-M decrease of 16% in its Manganese Ore imports from Brazil.
