BigMint's bi-weekly index for Fe63% concentrate currently stands at INR 5,700/t ($69/t) exw, stable, w-o-w. Meanwhile, some offers were also heard at a higher level of INR 5,900/t ($71/t) exw.

According to BigMint's assessment, the price of silico manganese in Raipur was at INR 67,600/t exw ($815/t), which rose to INR 1,600/t ($19) w-o-w.

Sponge iron prices in India decreased by INR 50-200/t on 7 February, 2024. However, sponge iron prices in Raipur and Durgapur reported a slight rise by INR 50-150/t. About 23,000 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 7 February compared to 8,460 t on 6 February.
