BigMint's bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index fell by INR 150/t ($2/t) to INR 8,650/t ($104/t) DAP Raipur as on 6 September 2024, compared to 3 September.

BigMint's domestic end-cutting scrap index tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market remained stable at INR 37,000/tonne (t) DAP as of 5 September.

Indian sponge iron prices declined by INR 100-300/tonne (t). PDRI market prices closed within the range of INR 23,500-26,000/t, while CDRI prices settled at INR 26,000-29,800/t.Only 7,900 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 6 September compared to 5,400 t on 5 September.
